Barbizon Midwest plus-size model Adnana Muranovic, 15, recently booked print work for dress designer and manufacturer, Party Time Formals. In the catalog, she modeled prom, homecoming and evening gowns. Adnana received an impressive $300 dollars for only a half day shoot! You go girl!
Other past gigs include promotional modeling and some window modeling for New York & Company.

Barbizon Midwest is excited to announce that Katrina Hoernig from Merrillville, will be appearing on the Oprah Show tomorrow Friday, September 17, 2010. We are all excited to tune in to see 17 year old High School Senior, Katrina as she showcases a beautiful Vera Wang gown. Her and the entire family will be traveling from Crown Point, IN for this amazing experience. Katrina's 18th Birthday is right around the corner so we would like to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Barbizon Midwest is thrilled to be able to announce to you all, that their very own Sara Neimietz is going to be the new on-screen guitarist for the TV show GLEE this season!! Watch her on FOX starting Tuesday September 21 rock out with Mr. Schuester!!
After moving from Chicago to L.A. Sara Niemietz has been singing all the way to Hollywood! From the Midwest to the West Coast, she made a pit stop in New York where she was privileged to work with Wendy Wasserstein, Cy Coleman, David Zippel, and Graciela Daniele on the workshop of "Pamela's First Musical".
She then made her first live CD - "Live at the Cat Club" - recorded from a live performance of hers on the Sunset Strip.
In 2007, she had the honor of playing a lead in Jason Robert Brown and Dan Elish's "13" the musical. Music wasn't her only talent, she also guest starred on the TV show "Gilmore Girls", "Providence", and "First Monday"
You can hear her voice in the music of "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", "The Uninvited", and "Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper".

Check out 7-year old Seamas O'Hara of Barbizon Midwest Schaumburg on NBC! You can see this superstar in the Weather Tech Floor Commercial.
Seamas is on the move! This youngster did a Travel/Leisure interview on TVRM in Bucharest, Romania this year, threw out the “first pitch” in opening ceremony at Chicago White Sox vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game in 2009 and also attended IMTA Los Angeles! Seamas received numerous awards and recognition for Commercial Print and Runway! The sky is the limit for Seamas and we can't wait to see what he'll do next!
