Barbizon Midwest is thrilled for Barbizon-Council Bluffs, Iowa 2007 graduate Amy Spilker, the reigning Miss Nebraska USA 2012! Currently a junior at the University of Nebraksa-Lincoln, Amy was thoughtful enough to contact us with a friendly hello and thank-you for, "An incredible life changing experience."
"I was so shy and quiet when I went to my first class and each class gained the confidence to pursue my dreams," expressed Amy. Her confidence, poise, and humbleness can be viewed in the video below as she accepts the Miss Nebraska USA 2012 crown.

Amy, it so gratifying for us to see you succeed and we believe this is just the beginning for you. We are proud of you, not only for achieving the title of Miss Nebraska USA, but also for your academic pursuit to complete your advertising and public relations major, with a marketing minor. Your gracious volunteer work for The American Cancer Society and the Salvation Army is admirable and you truly are an inspiration for us and our students.
